Description

FEATURES:

• Measurement of H*(10) ambient dose equivalent rate from 0.03 mrem/h to 10    rem/h
• Easy-to-read and backlit analog bargraph and digital display
• Visual and audible alarms on dose rate and integrated dose equivalent
• External probes for remote measurements, dose rate and surface contamination
• Date stamped data-logging (1000 points in probe memory and 1000 points in    Radiagem memory)
• Scaler/timer mode in Data-logging
• Lightweight, waterproof and easy to decontaminate
• Rugged and easy-to-use

With high voltage and digitization of the data occurring in the probe rather than the instrument, measurement quality is no longer dependent on cable quality as with older analog systems. Also, the probes can be plugged in "hot" without powering down the instrument - the instrument immediately recognizes the probe and automatically switches measurement mode to the mode required for that specific probe.

Calibrations and QA measurements can be performed directly with the probe, without even using the instrument, by connecting the probe to a computer with Radiagem calibration software, allowing your Radiagem meter to remain deployed in the field.

A data-logging button allows the user to store up to 1000 date stamped data points in probe memory for external probes and in the Radiagem meter memory for internal dose-rate detector (see probes' specifications). A scaler/timer mode can be used for data-logging with 1 to 255 seconds acquisition time. The Radiagem 4000 firmware can be upgraded via PC serial link with the appropriate cable.

The Radiagem 4000 LCD display includes a large choice of units depending on the probe specification: CPM, DPMeq, DPMeq/100 cm2, rem/h and R/h.

A Radiagem meter is also part of the emergency kits that include a variety of contamination probes.

  • MC1K Handheld Radiation Alert® Detector

    MC1K Handheld Radiation Alert® Detector $435.00

The MC1K is a handheld survey meter using a built-in energy compensated GM detector. It detects gamma and x-rays up to 1000 mR/hr over 4 selectable ranges. A beep sounds and a count light flashes with each event detected.

  • Ranger

    Ranger $695.00

The Ranger offers maximum performance in a lightweight, rugged solution for surveying at the facility or in the field. The Ranger has been designed for industrial environments, but it still has all of the features you've come to love in the lab. The Ranger is a small, handheld, microprocessor-based instrument which offers excellent sensitivity to low levels of alpha, beta, gamma, and x-rays and has built in efficiencies for common isotopes to calculate activity in Bq and DPM. It has a backlit digital display, a red count light, and a beeper that sounds with each count detected. Other features include selectable alert levels, an adjustable timer, and an optional wipe test plate for swipes. Internal memory and the free Observer USB Software that allows you to download your data, set computer alarms, and calibrate your instrument!

  • CT007-Radiation Response Kit (02)

    CT007-Radiation Response Kit (02) $1,400.00

The Pancakes Kit includes two CT007-P pancake detectors and a telescoping handle in a rugged protective case. This kit is ideal for First Responder teams. For hot zone / cold zone delineation, one CT007-P is used in dose rate mode and the other is used in contamination mode. During decontamination, both detectors are used in contamination mode. The redundancy achieved by using two identical instruments for different tasks means that all tasks can still be performed, even if one of the detectors is damaged. Also, one CT007-P can be used to confirm the reading of the other one. The kit can be supplied with only one CT007-P (Kit-01) and the CT007-P is also available without accessories.

  • CT007-GammaGuard

    CT007-GammaGuard Call for price

The CT007-F, CT007-N, CT-007-P connects to the smartphone application, GammaGuard. By itself, GammaGuard can provide basic radiation detection, and warn the user of dangerous radiation levels. It achieves this by using your smartphone’s camera as a radiation sensor. Other more sophisticated or sensitive radiation measurement instruments, such as the CT007 units, can be wirelessly connected to GammaGuard for enhanced functionality.

  • RDS-30 Rem/Sieverts Dose Rate Survey Meter

RDS-30 Rem/Sieverts Dose Rate Survey Meter Call for price

The RADOS RDS-30 is a Digital Radiation Survey Meter designed for a wide range of radiation surveillance applications. The RDS-30 acts as a modern replacement for traditional Geiger Counter type handheld radiation detectors. It allows the user to detect radiation instantly and easily.

  • CT007-F

    CT007-F $250.00

The CT007-F is a compact alpha, beta, gamma detector. This makes it suitable for identifying radioactive contamination.

Unlike pancake Geiger-Mueller tube based instruments, it is light, compact, and durable.

The CT007-F is sensitive enough to pick up the radiation from household items, but can still measure up to dangerous levels. It is easy to use and can even connect wirelessly to your phone. The phone provides a rich user interface and allows for time and date stamped data logging with GPS coordinates. The data can be logged to a file on your phone as well as optionally being logged to RadResponder. On the back is the sensor with an alpha/beta shield. This shield can be closed to take gamma only measurements, or opened to reveal the sensor window and take alpha and beta readings. This shield also keeps the sensor safe during transport.
