The base unit of the Model 3007A itself is a portable, hand-held survey meter providing three operating ranges reading on a dual scale up to 50 mR/hr or 30,000 CPM. The survey meter incorporates a sealed, splash proof speaker which produces the audible clicks. The speaker is powered by a separate 9-volt battery and can be turned off in case the meter is inadvertently left on, preserving the other "D" batteries to continue operating the meter itself. Although of a traditional design, the Model 3007A Survey Meter is a fully modern unit, with completely redesigned and up to date transistorized electronics, and with calibration at the factory in accordance with industry standards. This instrument is shockproof and designed for rugged use, thus perfect for operation in the field. Batteries are included. Requires a 3066-3 with probe models 360 and 370. Model 3012 Probe includes the cable.

Available Options: Model 3020 Headset for personal audible monitoring in high noise areas. The 3009A has individual calibration controls for each range. digilert100 SE Digilert 100 Survey Meter
The Digilert 100 measures alpha, beta, gamma, and x-rays. Its digital display shows readings in your choice of counts per minute (CPM) or mR/hr, or in accumulated counts. SE-inspector SE Inspector + Survey Meter
Now with an adjustable alert, the Inspector+ is a small, handheld, microprocessor-based instrument which offers excellent sensitivity to low levels of alpha, beta, gamma, and x-rays. The digital readout is displayed with a red count light and a beeper sounds with each count detected. Other features include an adjustable timer, external calibration controls and selectable alert. Specifications Detector Internal Halogen-quenched, uncompensated GM tube with thin mica window, 1.4-2.0 mg/cm2 areal density. Effective diameter of window is 45 mm (1.75 in.). Radiation symbol on front label marks the center of the detector. Display 4 digit liquid crystal display with indicators. Averaging Periods Display will update every 3 seconds. At low background levels, the update is the moving average for the past 30-second time period. The timed period for the moving average decreases as the radiation level increases. The carrying case has a clear window panel providing full view of the readout, count light, and access to the switches. Convenient hand straps and a belt loop are provided for carrying the instrument. A small pocket is provided for a check source.
