Probe

Model 3012/3012MHV

The Model 3012 & 3012-MHV consist of thick walled Geiger-Mueller (GM) tube detectors in a heavy wall sliding shield holder. The detector has an integral three foot straight cable, terminated in a BNC connector for the Model 3012, and an MHV connector for the Model 3012MHV. These detectors are designed to be used in the detection and measurement of medium and high energy x-ray and gamma radiation and high energy beta radiation.

This probe, when used with the Model 3100 Survey Meter, will measure radiation fields in excess of 1R/h. This meets the requirements of 10CFR34, while still providing general survey capability with a hand held probe.

FEATURES:
• Detects medium and high energy x-ray and gamma radiation, as well as
high energy beta
• Sliding window which provides energy discrimination capability
• Standard 900 volt operation
• Compact detector size
• High radiation level measurement
